Brown meagre – Sciaena umbra - Nosy
Robust-bodied fish with slightly arched back. Downward-turned mouth with 5 pores on the front edge of the bottom jaw. Pelvic and anal fins have white front margins. Lives on rocky bottoms close to Neptune grass, from 5-7 meters down to 180. Maximum size 70 centimeters.
