Wied Musa Battery

The abandoned Wied Musa Battery in Mellieħa, Malta, an 18th-century coastal fortification.

This image shows Wied Musa Battery in Mellieħa, built between 1714 and 1716 by the Order of Saint John. Once part of Malta’s northern coastal defenses, it is now abandoned, standing as a reminder of the island’s military past.
