Red-mouthed goby - Gobius cruentatus - In the sand
Goby with elongated body, large head and wide mouth. Lips and cheeks are bright red. Reddish-brown with irregular blotches. Found on rocky and sandy bottoms and amongst Neptune grass, from 10 meters to 40. Maximum size 18 centimeters.
