Tug Rozi

Tug Rozi Wreck, Malta

Built in 1958 in Bristol, England, the tug was originally named Rossmore. After being sold to Liverpool in 1969, she was renamed Rossgarth. In 1973, the vessel was brought to Malta, where she continued her duties under her final name Rozi.

In 1992, Rozi was purchased by Captain Morgan Cruises and deliberately scuttled off Ċirkewwa as an attraction for a tourist submarine. While the submarine was retired the same year, the Rozi remained at her resting place, becoming one of Malta’s most popular wreck dives and an artificial reef full of marine life.
